Good to know

Why pay for a server with Monero

Most cryptocurrencies are public ledgers: anyone who knows one of your addresses can follow your payments. Monero is different. Ring signatures hide the sender, one-time stealth addresses hide the receiver and RingCT hides the amount, so outside observers cannot see who paid whom, or how much. That makes it the natural match for a DediJet account, which needs only an email address and a password.

Paying works like any other top-up: pick the amount in dollars, choose Monero, and send the exact XMR amount to the address shown on the payment page within 30 minutes. Monero produces a block about every two minutes, and your balance is credited after 10 confirmations, so about 20 minutes. Network fees are a few cents at most.

  • Private by default

Sender, receiver and amount are hidden on the blockchain. There is nothing to configure.

  • Credited in about 20 minutes

10 confirmations, with a new block about every two minutes.

  • Fees of a few cents

Monero transaction fees stay tiny, whatever the amount you send.

  • Official and community wallets

The official GUI or CLI wallet, Feather Wallet, Cake Wallet or Monerujo all work.

  • Email-only account

No name, no phone number, no ID document, and no IP address stored in your account.

  • Refunds in XMR

Unused topped-up balance is refunded in Monero, the coin you paid with, minus the network fee.

How it works

How to pay for a server with Monero

Your server is paid from your account balance. A XMR top-up funds it, with its bonus, and the server deploys as soon as the payment is confirmed.

  1. 1

    Pick your server

Choose hardware, location and OS, then create your account in the same flow: an email and a password.

  2. 2

    Top up in XMR

Choose the amount, from $100, and Monero. The XMR amount and the address are locked for 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Send from your wallet

Paste the address and the exact amount, or scan the QR code. Ten confirmations take about 20 minutes.

  4. 4

    Your server deploys

The credit lands with its bonus, your server is paid from the balance and deploys automatically.

Check the network before you send. Send only XMR on the Monero mainnet, to the address shown for this top-up. Any other coin sent to it cannot be credited.

FAQ

Paying with Monero: questions

All questions
Can I pay for a dedicated server with Monero?

Yes. Top up your DediJet balance with XMR, from $100, and the balance pays for servers, renewals and add-ons. Every top-up earns a bonus of up to +50%.

How long does a Monero payment take to be credited?

About 20 minutes. We credit after 10 confirmations, and the Monero network produces a block about every two minutes.

Is a Monero payment really private?

On the blockchain, yes: ring signatures, stealth addresses and RingCT hide the sender, the receiver and the amount from outside observers. We see the top-up in your account, as we must to credit it, but no public ledger links it to you.

Do you need my name or an ID to pay with Monero?

No. An email address and a password open an account, whatever coin you pay with. We may ask for more information only when we investigate suspected fraud or abuse.

Which Monero wallet should I use?

Any wallet that can send XMR on the main network: the official Monero GUI or CLI wallet, Feather Wallet on desktop, or Cake Wallet and Monerujo on mobile. Paste the address and the exact amount from the payment page.

Are refunds paid in Monero too?

Yes. The topped-up part of an unused balance is refundable on request, in the coin you paid with and minus the network fee. Bonus credit is not refundable.
