Add-on questions
All questionsWhen can I add an option?
When you order, from the configuration page, or later: open the server in your dashboard, or ask in a ticket. Add-ons are billed monthly with the server and stop when you cancel it.
Do I need to justify additional IPv4 addresses?
Up to 4 additional IPv4 addresses per server, no. Larger blocks (/29 with 8 addresses, /28 with 16) need a short description of how they will be used, as required by the regional internet registries.
Is backup space part of my server?
No, and that is the point: it lives on separate storage, so a reinstall, a failed disk or a mistake on your server does not touch your backups. You reach it over SFTP, rsync, BorgBackup or restic.
Can I add drives to any server?
Extra drives can be installed where the chassis has a free bay. We confirm availability for your server before anything is billed, and the drive is added without reinstalling your system.
